Spain Festival of the May Crosses – Granada celebrates the Festival of the May Crosses by decorating its plazas, balconies, pavements and railings. Eye-catching floral displays will have you snapping many photos! The decorated "crosses" become focal points of dancing, singing and general merrymaking. Fun for the entire family!

France Sand Sculpture Festival – Come see how beautifully amazing sand can be! Watch as this beach is sculpted into a seaside museum of art. This event also includes parties and prize-giving after the sand has been sculpted. This festival is lots of fun even for the sand loather! Switzerland Tulip Festival – The Parc de l'Indépendance along the shores of Lake Geneva in Morges is filled with the sights and smells of over 100,000 narcissi, tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, jonquils and jacinths during the annual Tulip Festival. A beautiful display of spring at its finest! Try to visit on a weekend for accompanying music and shows. At the close of the festival, a tulip bulb sale takes place on May 14 (may be risky to try to get these bulbs through US Customs though!).
